New category in Mail’s Best of Health Awards

THE Hartlepool Mail Best of Health Awards 2012 now features a category for those just starting out in the world of health care.

The annual awards were launched three years ago to publicly honour those who work tirelessly for the benefit of others and whose care and compassion has helped change lives.

The nomination form has categories covering every aspect of health care.

They take in doctors, nurses, GP and dental practices, opticians, hospital teams, community and voluntary workers and those with long and distinguished service and now, for the first time, health care apprentices/students.

The awards are backed by both NHS Hartlepool and North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust, local health companies IntraHealth and Hart Biologicals as well as Hartlepool College of Further Education, Cleveland Fire Support

Paper copies are also available in the reception areas at the University Hospital of Hartlepool, in Holdforth Road, One Life Hartlepool, in Park Road, as well as the Mail reception.

The deadline for nominations is Sunday, June 3.
