HOSPITAL bosses are asking patients if they would recommend their services as part of a national survey.
The Friends and Family Test asks patients of NHS Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust how likely they are to recommend wards or A&E department to friends and family.
The trust says it is a great opportunity to discover what patients think of the care they receive.
All feedback will be reviewed to highlight where it is doing well and quickly identify any areas for improvement.
Ronald Dignen, who spent time on Ward 28 at the University Hospital of Hartlepool, said: “I couldn’t find a fault with any of the care I have received. Everyone has been fantastic.”
The trust says it gets patient feedback in a number of other ways but the Friends and Family Test will help them to improve even further.
