A CHARITY is holding an event for people with hearing difficulties.
Durham Deafened Support will be hosting an event in Lee House, Peterlee town centre, as part of Tinnitus Awareness Week.
Organisers say the event will be providing management and information and aims to reduce anxiety that many people encounter when suffering from the condition.
The service is tailored to individual need and clear reliable advice is given to sufferers.
The charity has 12 years experience in supporting people who have hearing loss and has recently expanded its service with two trained tinnitus advisers who will be available at the event to give information and advice.
They will also be able to show any available equipment at the event on Wednesday, February 9, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
