Help to get online

HELP is at hand to get adults in Hartlepool online for the first time.

The town’s Central Library, in York Road, is running First Click, a rolling programme of free five-week courses to show people how to use a keyboard and mouse, search the internet and send emails.

Diane Marlborough, the library’s information, advice and guidance manager, said: “The classes are very small and friendly and most of the time people will receive personal tuition.

“The courses are running on Friday mornings but we could alter that timing.”

Places on the courses must be booked in advance. For more information, visit the information desk on the first floor of the Central Library or call (01429) 242909.
