THE hospital services that could return to Hartlepool have been revealed – but health chiefs say the town will never have an accident and emergency department again.
Cardiology, diagnostic urology, endoscopy and orthopaedics and spinal services are all set to be reinstated at the University Hospital of Hartlepool.
But North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust bosses say there is “no question” of reversing the changes made to emergency care last year.
