HUNDREDS of people flocked to a Home Show making the day a huge success.
The event was staged at the weekend by the luxury lifestyle magazine for the North-East, etc, which is owned by the Hartlepool Mail’s parent company, Northeast Press.
The day featured an array of exhibitors from across the region with everything from stylish accessories and home furnishings to cakes and jewellery.
The event featured a cooking demonstration by Sunderland AFC’s head chef and The Fashion Fix suite, hosted by Mona McTaggart, owner of Darlington high-end womenswear store, Joulani, proved popular.
Ashley Dembry and Amy McDonald, of Ramsay and Johnson hair salon in Blandford Street, Sunderland, also gave hair demonstrations.
Amanda Charilaur, who came from Darlington for the show, said: “There was lots of variety and some great ideas for your home.”
Linda Burnside, assistant managing director of Northeast Press, said: “We are extremely pleased at the success of the etc Home Show and can’t wait to start organising the next event.”
