A GAELIC gig is set to be staged in a village pub.

Irish singer songwriter Dan Donnelly will be performing the acoustic set in the back room of The Bull and Dog pub, in High Street, Greatham, Hartlepool, on the evening of Saturday, November 15.

Dan, who is also a guitarist for alternative rock band The Wonder Stuff, will perform and number of tunes.

Tickets for the gig cost £5 and are available from behind the bar beforehand, or on the door on the night.

All cash raised through tickets sales will go to the Greatham Sports Field Association.

The Association is a voluntary group which works to care for and develop the playing field in the village which is used by several sporting groups and locals.

Doors for the event open from 7.15pm.
