BRIDE-TO-BE Elizabeth Richardson is using new technology as a constant reminder of her fast-approaching wedding day.
The 22-year-old and her fiance Liam Turnbull were chosen as the winners of the Mail’s Bride of the year competition run in conjunction with Robert Usher Photography.
Elizabeth was so stunned at being chosen that she downloaded two wedding themed applications onto her mobile phone to keep the biggest day of her life constantly in her thoughts.
One is a countdown clock which details the time left to her dream wedding at the Grand Hotel on Friday, September 16 – right down to the last second.
The other is a wedding checklist which lists everything she needs to sort out before the biggest day in her life.
But Elizabeth, from the Chester Road area of Hartlepool admitted: “Most of it is already sorted for me because there’s everything you need in the prize I have won.”
Elizabeth and Liam, also 22, are now planning for everything from their £1,400 wedding photograph album to Elizabeth’s dream dress and we will be following them every step of the way as they move closer to the day they say “I do.”
We’re with them as they visit each of the sponsors and pick their prizes.
