Do you think the lunch break is a thing of the past?
Most Britons are so overworked they often skip lunch, according to a study.
A total of 51 per cent said the pressures of modern life usually leave them with no time for a lunch break, while almost half (48 per cent) think a lunch break is a thing of the past.
Women are more likely to work through lunch than men (33 per cent compared with 20%), according to a survey of 2,000 people.
The study also found that more than half of Britons (53 per cent) usually eat their evening meal in front of the television and 31% watch TV over breakfast.
