Should £650,000 of taxpayers’ money be spent on improving Church Square?
Regeneration chiefs have unveiled their plans to transform a town centre square – and residents are being urged to have their say.
Hartlepool Borough Council has launched a major consultation exercise into plans to breathe new life into Church Square.
The proposals – which are still subject to funding worth £650,000 being agreed by the council – include a phased programme of re-modelling.
It is part of wider plans to create an innovation and skills quarter on the back of the new £52m Hartlepool College of Further Education and the expansion of Cleveland College of Art & Design.
