FASHION conscious shoppers are being invited to gen up on jeans at a style event this weekend.

Middleton Grange Shopping Centre in Hartlepool is hosting the style consultancy for people who want to make the most of their denims.

The Pure Jeanius event will help shoppers find the perfect pair of jeans for their shape and size, as well as offering some tips on styles and colours and how to accessorise.

Middleton Grange is setting up a Denim Lounge at the centre between 10am and 5pm this Saturday where style and image consultants Tina Gill and Helen Richardson will be on hand for jeans advice.

Tina said: “In the world of fashion things change constantly and yet, the good old pair of jeans remains the single key item you will find in the wardrobe of most women and men, year in, year out and whatever the season.

“There are so many different types of jeans around, but the Pure Jeanius event will give shoppers the opportunity to experiment with styles they might never have tried before and also get an education in what to look for when buying jeans in the future.”

Some of the advice on offer in the Denim Lounge will include which jeans suit different body shapes.

The event is supported by a range of fashion retailers within Middleton Grange including BHS, Primark, Evans, Peacocks, Marks & Spencer, New Look and Internacionale.

Middleton Grange Shopping Centre manager Mark Rycraft added: “Jeans are such a versatile and low cost fashion item and a familiar feature of almost everyone’s wardrobe.

“We’re expecting the Pure Jeanius event to prove popular.

“Appointments can be booked on the day, but are limited, so make sure that you head for the Denim Lounge outside BHS to take advantage of this amazing event.”
