STUDENTS from a Hartlepool academy will be dancing in a winter wonderland when they hold their Christmas show next month.
JLM Dance in Hartlepool is holding its Christmas show on Saturday, December 20, at the Raglan Club in town.
Dance school owner Jemma Mudd said: “It is an opportunity for students to showcase their dancing abilities to family and friends.”
But that’s not the only reason for the show.
Jemma added that the team would be “celebrating together in our dancing family this festive season”.
She said the show would be a superb variety of entertainment including ballroom and Latin dancing along to well known Christmas songs. There will be 30 dancers involved in the show.
The performers will be aged from 18 months to adults and the show is expected to last for about 40 minutes.
Jemma added: “There will be a presentation on the evening also to present awards to the students from our recent examination as well as a few special awards such as the most improved and examiners best dancer.”
The children will also be getting a visit from Santa.
Jemma said: “We will also be raising money throughout the evening for our dancing fund to help with costs for some of the events that we attend throughout the year and would welcome any donations.
“Everyone has been working really hard for the event and personally feel this will be our best show yet.
“Family and friends will be amazed when they see how much our dancers have improved.”
The event runs from 6pm to 10pm and costs £6 per ticket which includes the dance show, presentation, games and buffet.
Tickets can be bought from the school on Sundays or from a members of JLM.
