A selection of full-time, part-time and seasonal vacancies were on offer during the jobs and training fair held at the Grand Hotel in Swainson Street, Hartlepool.

Employers and training and advice organisations at the event included BHS, The Range, Argos, McDonald’s, Baltic Recruitment, Body Shop At Home, Carewatch, Wolviston Management Group, Community Home Care, Cablecom Training, FamilyWise, Jobcentre Plus, Janard Training, Group Horizons, Hartlepool Council Adult Education Team, Opening Doors, HVDA, the Families Information and Support Hub (FISH), the National Apprenticeships Service and the National Careers Service.

The fair was organised by Hartlepool Borough Council’s Hartlepool Working Solutions team in partnership with Jobcentre Plus.

Caron Auckland, Hartlepool Working Solutions project officer, said: “We are very pleased with the way the fair has gone and we would like to take this opportunity to thank the many firms and organisations which have taken part and made it such a success.

“There has been a lot of interest from members of the public, with a steady stream of people through the doors throughout the day, inquiring both about jobs and training opportunities.”
