An action-packed day is in store at Hartlepool Marina this weekend with lots of thrills and spills.
People can watch and try a host of exciting activities on the water in Marina Fest which takes place around Jackson Dock on Saturday.
Hartlepool Marina and On Water Training are among the organisers which promises something for everyone.
The day, which starts from 11am will include breathtaking displays by world class jet skier Jason Bleasdale and European flyboard champion Sonnie ‘backflip’ Bean.
Hartlepool Marina’s yacht racing team will run through various training drills, and boat owners are invited to join a flotilla in a parade around Jacksons Dock.
Pedalos to Gin Palaces are welcome and boats must be registered with Marina Lock Office.
And Tees and Hartlepool Yacht Club cadets will battle it out in a dinghy racing action.
Visitors can take advantage of a host of taster sessions throughout the day including paddleboarding and an adrenaline-pumping ride on a Thundercat which has a greater power to weight ratio than a Ferrari 360.
Top coach Matt from Team Trigma will be heading an Open Water Swim session from 11am to 12.30pm.
It is a chance for swimmers to meet the community who train throughout the summer at Hartlepool Marina.
There will also be live outdoor music by surfers The Good Vibes, a BBQ and stalls by the RNLI, Hartlepool Dive Club, Hartlepool Sea Cadets, On Water Training and health company Forever Living.
