JESUS Christ Superstar finalist Jon Moses has signed a deal to headline a Christmas show.
Jon (above), has signed with Paul Hollman Associates to play the part of Prince Valiant in the pantomime Sleeping Beauty, at the Connaught Theatre, Worthing, from December 7 to January 5.
The former student at Shotton Hall School, in Peterlee, is delighted with his new role and cannot wait to begin his “big adventure”.
Jon, 28, whose family live in Haswell, said: “It is massive for me because it gives me a chance to keep learning and getting better. I am sure it will be a fantastic show and hopefully there is a good turnout because I really want to make this a success.”
Jon, who reached the final six on the ITV show that was judged by Andrew Lloyd Webber, signed to become the headlining man.
Now living in Leicester, Jon has not forgotten his roots after TV success on Jesus Christ Superstar and still remembers his “North-East family”.
He said: “When you get into a position like this you have to remember where you came from and I am certainly going to do that, I really want to go back to the area and see the people who supported me.”
