THE Duchess of Cambridge will visit Teesside without Prince William this week.
The Royal couple were due to visit CRI Stockton Recovery Service, in Stockton together on Wednesday, but Clarence House confirmed that the prince is now set to attend the funeral of a former nanny.
The Royal visit to the facility, which treats people from Billingham, will otherwise go ahead as planned.
The duchess will spend the morning in Newcastle where she will meet a group of people who helped to make the Olympic Games a success in the city.
She will then visit charities across Tyneside before heading to Stockton for a visit to the centre which helps drug users throughout Teesside.
