A MAN who stabbed his partner to death told a jury he just “lost it” after she accused him of sleeping with other women.

Graham Gibson, 47, admits killing Christine Henderson with a large kitchen knife, but is claiming a defence of loss of control.

Today Gibson told the jury at Teesside Crown Court that he “just lost it” after Mrs Henderson accused him of sleeping with various women when she had been drinking.

He said: “She just went on and on at me. I just lost it and stabbed her.”

Gibson said he could not remember how many times he stabbed her, but afterwards his mind was “racing”.

Mrs Henderson died from horrific injuries at the house in Brambles Farm, Middlesbrough, where she was staying with a friend after splitting with Gibson.

Gibson, of Kent Avenue, Hartlepool, denies murder.

The trial continues.
