LATEST NEWS: Man targeted by knife robbers

POLICE are appealing for information after a man was threatened with a knife during a terrifying robbery.

The robbery took place in Davison Drive, at the junction with Carrick Street, Hartlepool.

A 37-year-old man was approached by two men who grabbed him from behind and threatened him with a knife, before stealing cash and a mobile phone from him.

They then ran off onto Davison Drive.

One of the suspects is described as being around 6ft 2in-tall, of slim build and wearing a black hooded top. The second suspect was wearing a dark blue and white jacket with a blue hood.

One of the suspects was on a blue mountain bike.
