Laughs lined up at town venue

A COMEDY club has lined up two top gigs in Hartlepool within a matter of weeks.

The Hot Potato Comedy Club will host leading comedians at the Town Hall Theatre in Raby Road, Hartlepool, on Saturday this week, and again on Saturday, December 14.

This weekend’s show features comedy club favourite Rob Deering and Robert White with Danny McLoughlin acting as the master of ceremonies.

Tickets are £9 and £8.

The next Hot Potato gig will be held from 8pm on Saturday, December 14, with Jeff Innocent among the starring acts.

Starring alongside Jeff in the Christmas special will be Lloyd Langford, and Scott Bennett with Mike Wilkinson as the master of ceremonies.

Tickets are £10 or £9 with concessions and anyone wanting to secure their spot should either visit Hartlepool Tourist Information Centre in Church Square, or call the Town Hall Theatre box office on (01429) 890000.

Lovers of comedy nights can also book up for Christmas special shows which are planned in Middlesbrough, Stockton, and Saltburn with well known names such as Jason Manford, Hebburn star Jason Cook, Ivan Brackenbury and Dave Johns among the line-ups.
