YOUNGSTERS can enjoy a range of activities at Hartlepool’s libraries during the half-term holiday.

Decorating a strange sea creature, Jack Frost hand puppet crafts and springtime read and rhyme sessions are just part of the packed programme offered by Hartlepool Borough Council.

l Monday, February 18, read and rhyme for under fives The Big Blue Train, 10.30-11.30am.

l Tuesday, February 19, read and rhyme for the under fives will have an animals abroad theme from 2pm-3pm. Hartlepotz craft session will give youngsters the chance to decorate a weird sea creature, for children aged 5-12, 2.30pm-3.30pm Cost £4, child booking essential.

l Wednesday, February 20, read and rhyme for the under twos with trains theme from 1.30pm-2.30pm.

l Thursday, February 21, read and rhyme for the under fives The Big Blue Train, 10.30am-11.30am.

l Friday, February 22, pirate illustrations with Keith Robson. Craft session for ages five-12 10.30am-11.30am, booking essential.
