THE case of a woman accused of harassing the family of a toddler who vanished three decades ago has been adjourned.
Donna Louise Wright is charged with harassing Sharon and Natasha Lee, mother and sister of missing Hartlepool girl Katrice Lee.
Wright, 33, of Hillside Court, Spennymoor, is alleged to have sent numerous emails and Facebook messages to the Lees between November 24, 2011, and December 4 last year.
Wright was excused from appearing at the first hearing in the case today at South Durham Magistrates’ Court in Newton Aycliffe and no plea was entered.
District Judge Roger Elsey ordered for the case to be adjourned until January 16 when a plea is expected.
Wright was granted conditional bail in the meantime.
Katrice went missing on her second birthday, November 28, 1981, from a NAAFI store in Paderborn, Germany.
