All the fun of the medieval village fair
PEOPLE can step back in time at a village fair.
Mock battles and samba drums are just two of the attractions that will be available at Hart medieval fair at the weekend.
There will also be stalls and a barbecue during the annual fair, which is being held between 11am-3pm on Saturday, at St Mary Magdalene Church, in Hart village, on the outskirts of Hartlepool.
Youngsters from Hart Primary School will be playing samba drums and a re-enactment group will be staging mock medieval battles.
Organiser, the Reverend John Lund said: "The weather is going to be nice and people will get a flavour of medieval village life, while also enjoying a good fun day for the family."
