Appeal for help in tracing woman

MISSING: Sheralee Dodsworth

MISSING: Sheralee Dodsworth

POLICE are appealing for help as they attempt to trace a woman who has been missing from home since last week.

Sheralee Dodsworth, 42, was last seen at her home in Lillie Terrace, in Trimdon Grange, last Thursday morning.

When her husband Keith, came home from work later that day he discovered she had left in their car, a silver Vauxhall Astra, registration GUO6 LBX.

Sheralee is white, around six feet tall, has short dark hair and has the name “Kyle” tattooed on her right forearm.

Police say there have been no sightings of her or the car since she went missing four days ago and attempts to contact her on her mobile phone have also drawn a blank.

Inspector Kevan McCarthy, of Durham Police, said: “We are concerned for Sheralee’s welfare since it is out of character for her to have gone missing in this way.

“Our initial enquiries suggest she may still be in the north east, perhaps staying with a friend or family member who may be unaware she has been reported missing.”

Any information concerning Sheralee Dodsworth should be reported to the police on the non-emergency 101 number, quoting incident reference 0446 of January 4.
