THE body of a man who had not been seen for a number of days has been found by police at a house in Hartlepool.
Officers made the grim discovery at the house in Rium Terrace, Hartlepool, at around 4.15pm on Thursday.
Police say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of the man, who was in his early 60s.
A Cleveland Police spokesman said: “We attended an address in Rium Terrace where a male was found dead.
“There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of the man.”
The coroner has been informed.
