COUNCIL chiefs are launching a review of facilities including community centres and village halls.

Durham County Council has approved a review of the maintenance and improvement of community centres, communal rooms and village halls.

The review will help the authority to develop a strategy to improve the quality and condition of the council-owned buildings, the ways in which they are used and the cost to the council.
