A BUSINESS networking group is moving into the second half of its season’s calendar with a change of venue.
The Hartlepool Business Forum has been holding meetings at the Hartlepool’s Maritime Experience from September to November.
But the January to April sessions will be held at the Hartlepool College of Further Education (HCFE).
It is the first time that two different venues have been used in the same season.
In another first, interactive workshops are on offer, based on the theme held each month.
The April meeting will also be a first as it will be a combined event between Hartlepool College of Further Education and Cleveland College of Art and Design, with the two colleges being given the chance to shape how they want to best serve the town’s business needs.
But as well as the new, the forum calendar will also retain a lot of the traditions which have made it a success.
All of the networking meetings start at 5.15pm for a buffet with each month’s presentations to start at 6pm.
This month’s event takes place on Thursday, January 24 and will be a business safari in which entrepreneurs get a chance to network with like-minded business people.
The safari host will be forum co-ordinator John Megson.
Participants are asked to take along their business cards and appropriate literature as well as their diaries.
