MEMBERS of a charitable organisation are getting in the festive spirit by preparing Santa’s sleigh for its annual Christmas collections.
The Rotary Club of Easington and Peterlee’s Christmas sleigh will be in the area throughout the week collecting for various good causes.
It will be in Blackhall on Thursday, December 13, from 6pm, in Easington Village, from 6pm, on Friday, December 14, at Peterlee Town Centre from 9am on Saturday, December 15, in the Oakerside Park area of Peterlee from 4pm on Sunday, December 16, in Horden, from 6pm on Monday, December 17 and in Easington Colliery, from 6pm on Tuesday, December 18,
The organisation also has a Tree of Remembrance at Castle Dene Shopping Centre, in Peterlee.
