BRIDES and grooms flocked to Linden Hall for etc magazine’s first wedding show at the venue.
The event, run by Mail publisher North East Press, was hailed a success by organisers with more than 200 hundred guests turning up – with everyone being treated to free fizz, a bridal goodie bag and a fabulous fashion show.
An array of exhibitors included everything from wedding cars and cakes to bridal gowns and mother-of-the-bride outfits.
Stunning floral designs, impressive wedding albums and children’s entertainment were also showcased on the day.
Exhibitor James Wilde, owner of Jesmond-based ReVamp Clinic, offered ladies advice on how they can look a million dollars on their big day.
He said: “It was a cracking day, well attended and highly professional. We had a couple of enquires and we would definitely come again.”
Two catwalk shows were held throughout the day and a bevy of beauties from Headline Models strutted their stuff in gorgeous gowns by Kathryn S Trueman.
Wedding singer Anthony Stringer performed a number of crooning classics to accompany the fashion shows, which were both packed.
etc editor Georga Spottiswood said: “It was our first wedding event in the Northumberland area and what a day it was. Linden Hall was the perfect setting, it really was an amazing day and great to see so many happy couples walking through the door.”
etc’s next wedding show will be held on March 24, at Rockliffe Hall, near Darlington, from noon to 4pm. To register online for your free ticket, goodie bag and chance to win a helicopter ride courtesy of Northumbria Helicopters, visit www.etcnortheast.co.uk
