YOUNGSTERS can have an eggs-citing time tomorrow while helping to provide life-saving funds for a poorly youngster.
Blackhall Cricket Club’s Welfare Park ground will host an Easter egg hunt tomorrow from 11am in aid of two-year-old Bradley Lowery. As well as egg-hunting, children can enjoy a bouncy castle and face-painting.
Mark Rycraft, manager of Hartlepool’s Middleton Grange Shopping Centre and charity spokesman, featured in the Mail appealing for donations of chocolate eggs as prizes.
He said: “Lots of people have brought in Easter eggs, but we still need more.
“They can drop them at the centre any time today.”
Mark is also appealing for someone to donate a Peppa Pig outfit to be worn on the day.
Bradley is suffering from rare childhood cancer neuroblastoma, and a fundraising appeal was launched last year with a £500,000 fundraising target to help pay for treatment should he suffer a relapse.
There will be a £3 entry fee for tomorrow’s event. Anyone who can help with a Peppa Pig outfit can call (01429) 861220.
