A HARTLEPOOL man involved in a cocaine supply chain has been jailed for two and a half years.
Kevin Chapman was found with around 23 grams of the Class A drug when police raided his home in Harwich Grove, on August 24 last year.
Police also uncovered 79.5 grams of amphetamine, a Class B drug.
The 33-year-old, who admitted possession of Class A and B drugs with intent to supply, said he had been storing the cocaine for someone else, but would have received some money for doing it.
Jailing him, Judge Bourne-Arton said: “You know these offences can only be dealt with by way of a custodial sentence.”
