DVD piracy charges

A MAN is due in court accused of making pirate DVDs.

Paul Wiley appeared before Hartlepool Magistrates Court charged with infringing copyright last July and possessing criminal property of 10,550 cash.

The 43-year-old, of Wordsworth Avenue, Hartlepool, did not enter a plea at the hearing and is due to appear before the court again on January 7.
