Fun for all the family at Summerhill

A POPULAR countryside park is hosting a string of activites over the coming months for all the family to enjoy.

Staff at Summerhill, based off Catcote Road, in Hartlepool, have organised events including make your own notice board, mini garden scrarecrow, scrap book and garden decorations.

People can make their own scrap book on Saturday, April 19 between 10am and noon.

Hartlepool Adult Education are holding the workshop to give families the chance to work together to design a fun scrapbook using a variety of materials then, using digital cameras, take and print some photos to begin your own scrapbook. All materials will be provided.

Meanwhile, families can make their own notice board at an event at Summerhill country park on Saturday, May 17 between 10am and noon.

Hartlepool Adult Education are holding the workshop to give families the opportunity to work together to make a fabric covered, padded, ribbon Notice Board for any room in the house. Again, all materials will be provided.

Then on Saturday, June 21 between 10am and noon, people can make their own mini garden scarecrow.

A Summerhill spokesman said: “Free Saturday Family Learning activities to give you the opportunity to work with your child and get the whole family exploring indoors and outdoors at Summerhill.

“All sessions are free and booking is essential.
