PAM’S kind-hearted colleagues will be raising money in her memory at an action-packed event this weekend.
The staff at Dunelm Mill, in Highpoint Retail Park, Hartlepool, where Pam worked, have organised a fun couple of days for all the family.
Bouncy castles, face painting, crafts and games, as well as a variety of stalls are on offer at the store.
And in a bid to raise even more cash, more than a dozen colleagues will be saddling up for a sponsored bike ride from Hartlepool to the Dunelm Mill store, in Stockton, before turning and heading back to town.
All of the cash raised over the two days will be donated to Hartlepool & District Hospice.
Janice Forbes, community fundraiser at the hospice, said: “This is a lovely tribute to Pam from her colleagues.
“I am looking forward to going to the store over the weekend and joining in the fun.”
Jason Charters, Dunelm Mill employee and a DJ on Radio Hartlepool, said: “Hopefully we will get lots of families coming and joining in the fun.”
Pam’s mum, Mary, said this weekend’s event was a “lovely tribute” to her daughter.
The activities will take place from 9am-6pm tomorrow and 10am-4.30pm on Sunday.
All of the money raised over the weekend will go towards funding the specialist palliative care services the hospice offers to people in Hartlepool and East Durham.
