H’Angus completes charity walk

FUNDRAISER: HAngus at Victoria Park

FUNDRAISER: HAngus at Victoria Park

THERE was no time for monkeying around as Hartlepool United’s mascot H’Angus undertook a charity walk.

The monkey mascot walked 17 miles from Pools’ training ground in Durham City to the club’s Victoria Park ground for their League One game against Yeovil Town on Saturday.

H’Angus, aka Michael Evans, set off on his challenge at 8am and braved wind and rain in the name of charity to complete the walk around six hours later.

He raised money for Prostate Cancer UK, the Football League’s official charity partner for this season.
