HARTLEPOOL United will be charging just £5 for fans to watch the critical League Two match with Morecambe at Victoria Park on Easter Monday.

Pools today launched the Pack the Park initiative which they hope will bring in a bumper holiday crowd to cheer Colin Cooper’s team to a vital win in their bid for Football League safety.

The League Two club already boast one of the best admission deals in English football - it costs an average of £6.52 per game for a Pools season ticket holder.

Cooper told SportMail: “We’ve already had great support this season, both home and away.

“But if we can get 5,000 or more fans in the Vic on Monday and a positive atmosphere then I’ll be more than happy.”

Admission to all sections of the ground, including the away end, will be only a fiver.
