TIME is running out for people to have their say on plans to improve public access along the coast in Hartlepool and East Durham.
Natural England has been running a consultation on its final proposals for the North East Coastal Path.
There are just two weeks left for people to look at the plans and make any comments.
The access plan will cover 34 miles of the North East coast between North Gare and South Bents, in Sunderland.
In December, Natural England submitted its final proposals to the Secretary of State and published them online.
The plan follows was created after extensive talks with landowners, tenants and local organisations.
It aims to identify a clear and continuous way-marked walking route along the coast, bringing sections of existing coastal footpath closer to the sea.
Copies of the report can be viewed in council offices and libraries.

The closing date for final representations and objections is 5pm on Monday, February 11.
