A chance for people to kickstart their career chances is being offered at a two-hour event.
Hartlepool College of Further Education is hosting an open evening on Tuesday, January 12, to showcase opportunities available in catering, hairdressing, beauty therapy, teaching, chemical process technology, construction and fabrication and welding.
All courses have places available for students to make an immediate start.
College principal Darren Hankey said: “There is often a perception that courses start in September and run through the academic year, but that isn’t always the case.
“At this time of year, people often set themselves targets for the year and further education is often high on that list.
“The courses which will be showcased at Tuesday’s event can all be joined immediately, and there are some exciting opportunities available.”
Lecturers will offer advice and students will talk of their own experiences at the event from 5pm to 7pm.
