YOUNGSTERS enjoyed the chance to show off their creative skills as a library hosted a popular fun session.

Children under five can take part in a read and rhyme session at Owton Manor Library, in Wynyard Road, every Monday from 2pm.

The session, which is free of charge, gives youngsters the chance to enjoy storytelling and crafts with the help of library staff.

Read and rhyme sessions are held at all of the libraries in the town throughout the week.

For more information call the library on (01429) 272835.
