LOVE will be in the air when college students put on a Valentine’s dinner.

East Durham College’s gourmet restaurant Scene1 will be opening its doors on Thursday, February 14, for a Valentine’s Day event.

Eight students, who are studying City & Guilds Level 2 and Level 3 diploma in professional cookery, are busy planning for the event they will run as part of their course.
Scene1 is a bistro style eatery with a fully-licensed bar at the college’s Peterlee campus and the dinner starts at 7pm.

Guests will be treated to a mouth-watering three-course meal for £14.95 per person.

The students are also organising a St Patrick’s event on the evening of Thursday, March 14.
