Man, 50, dies at work
A HARTLEPOOL workman died after an incident at an oil refinery.
Police were called to the Lindsey Oil Refinery, in North Killingholme,
North Lincolnshire, where they discovered the 50-year-old.
He was rushed to Grimsby's Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, after the incident at 11.30am on Saturday, where he was pronounced dead by medics.
Humberside Police said his death was not being treated a suspicious.
They were unable to give any details on the circumstances surrounding his death.
A file is being prepared for the coroner and the man's family have been informed.
The Health and Safety Executive are believed to be looking into the incident.
Oil company Total, which owns the refinery, would only confirm there had been an incident on Saturday, but declined to give further details.
