Man admits hammer attack
A ROW over a girlfriend saw a man hit a former friend on the head with a hammer.
Nathan Robinson appeared at Durham Crown Court accused of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm after the incident on August 19 last year.
The 19-year-old, of Eighth Street, Horden, pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of unlawful wounding on the day his trial was due to start.
Judge Christopher Prince bailed Robinson to return to the court to be sentenced on March 29
