Mental health care
A CHARITY is holding a two-day course for residents who come into contact with people who experience mental health problems.
The scheme, called Mental Health First Aid, is being provided by the charity Mind and will take place at Summerhill Visitor Centre, off Catcote Road, Hartlepool.
It is designed for anyone who is not a mental health professional, but may come in to contact with friends, family or colleagues who suffer from mental health problems.
The course, on Thursday, July 22, and Friday, July 23, gives advice on how to help and provides an overview of all common mental health conditions.
Places are limited and there is a charge.
