Pair wait for sentence
TWO people will be will be sentenced later this month after admitting handling property from a £15,000 house burglary.
Thomas Adey, 29, and Denise Walker, 34, pleaded guilty to handling stolen cash, a handbag, jewellery, a mobile telephone and camera.
They were part of 15,000 of property taken in a burglary at Voltigeur Drive, Hart village, on June 5.
Adey, of Chaplin Street, Seaham, and Walker, of Jubilee Crescent, Sherburn Hill, both denied burglary and theft.
However, they also admitted fraud by false representation by using a Royal Bank of Scotland bank card taken in the burglary.
Adey was remanded in custody and Walker was released on bail.
They will both be sentenced at Teesside Crown Court later this month.
