POLICE have issued another appeal to trace two drivers after a woman was killed on the A19 near Hartlepool.

Keri Holdsworth, 36, from the Edinburgh area, died after the crash at around 4.30pm on Friday, June 13.

She was driving a Renault Clio when it collided with a blue BMW 5 series estate on the northbound carriageway at the junction with Dalton Piercy.

A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: “Officers would like to speak to the driver of a light-coloured or white van which may have been using the Dalton junction at the time.

“Officers would also appeal to trace a military forces medic who stopped at the scene and assisted with first aid.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Mark Pearson, from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit, on the non-emergency 101 number, quoting reference number 100435.
