Races hot news on sunshine isle

THREE cousins had a sweltering time on their travels and still remembered to spread the word.

Cailum McAleavy, Bethany Muldown and Lewis Muldown are pictured in the Dominican Republic holding a copy of the Mail's Tall Ships poster.

And by doing so, they helped to spread the word that The Tall Ships Races are coming to Hartlepool this August.

Our thanks go to Brian Carter for sending this photograph.

Many thanks to them for helping to spread the word.

We want hundreds of readers to take our tall ships poster on holiday with them and have photos taken.

The Tall Ships Races are expected to attract a million visitors when up to 100 tall ships from around the world sail into Hartlepool from Kristiansand, in Norway.

The town hosts the ships from August 7-10.

You can pick up your copy of the poster from the Mail's reception in Wesley Square, any of Hartlepool's libraries, Hartlepool Civic Centre; Hartlepool's Maritime Experience or the Hartlepool Art Gallery and Information Centre, in Church Square.

Send your photos to Chris Cordner at the Mail, either by post to New Clarence House, Wesley Square, Hartlepool, TS24 8BX, or via email to chris.cordner@northeast-press.co.uk
