WORLD cup fever has taken hold among the canine fraternity in Hartlepool and here is the latest pooch to show her support for Roy Hodgson’s boys.
Ruby the black Labrador was pictured looking very patriotic in her town home donning a red and white England T-shirt, sitting next to some English flags and with a couple of cans of John Smiths beer to get her in the spirit.
The snaps were sent in by Mail reader, and ruby’s owner, Ken Rigg, as part of the Mail’s Pedigree Chums.
We want readers to send in cute pictures of their beloved dogs showing their patriotism for the England team in the World Cup in Brazil.
In the last World Cup in South Africa, scores of Mail readers backed our Pedigree Chums campaign, where we encouraged people to dress up their pets in England gear.
So this time round let’s see if the will of our Poolie animals can project some good luck on the team to get them into the final in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday, July 13.
We’d love you to send us your photographs of your dog getting involved in the excitement, woofing like Wilshire, howling like Hart, barking like Baines, or scampering like Sturridge, we’d love to hear from you.
