Seaton 'buzzing' at events
SHOCKED residents have spoken about the bizarre events following the reappearance of the "dead" canoeist.
Since missing canoeist John Darwin walked into a London police station, the lives of residents in Seaton Carew, Hartlepool, have been turned upside down by a frenzy of media attention from around the world.

Councillor David Young, who owns Young's Fisheries in Seaton Carew, said: "Everybody who has been in the fish shop has their own opinion and they are all still talking about it."
Bruce Caswell, 44, who has lived at The Cliff for nine years, said it is "unbelievable what is coming out and I can't wait to find out what has happened".
Jonathon Ward, 36, who also lives at The Cliff, said: "I didn't know the couple and I know quite a lot of the dog walkers around Seaton Carew. But I didn't recognise them."
He added: "I remember when he went missing there were a lot of people who were suspicious at the time."
Another couple from The Cliff who would not be named added: "At the moment it is all speculation and there are so many rumours."
Pensioner Alec Dixon, 79, who lives with his wife Mary next-door-but-one to John and his wife said: "We knew Anne but we never mentioned anything about the accident to her after it had happened."
