One Life Urgent Care Centre is located on Park Road, but a road sign directing traffic to the facility was pointed the wrong way.

Hartlepool Borough Council believe that the sign was turned, and are now taking steps to have it corrected as soon as possible.

A spokesman for the council said: “Unfortunately, it would appear that a road sign for One Life Hartlepool has been turned around.

“We are grateful that this has been brought to our attention by a vigilant member of the public and we will ensure the sign is now turned back around to point people in the correct direction.”

The minor injuries unit at the care centre is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Other services are also provided at One Life, including speech and language therapy, audiology, podiatry, musculoskeletal services and a diabetes one stop shop.

Its walk-in centre is open from 8am to 8pm, and main reception from 8.30am to 5pm.
