So happy for Kate

Duke and Duchess of Cambridge

Duke and Duchess of Cambridge

A HARTLEPOOL bride has congratulated the Duchess of Cambridge after it was announced she is pregnant.

Hartlepool woman Hollie Sorelle, who married on the same day as Kate and William, has passed on her best wishes to the Royal couple.

But Hollie, 23, says parenthood is a little further into the future for her and her husband Paul McCully.

Greatham girl Hollie married her sweetheart Paul on April 29, last year, in Northern Ireland.

Hollie, a professional singer, dancer and actress, met Paul, 30, in Belfast on Christmas Eve in 2006 while she was starring in panto. Hollie, who is the daughter of Hartlepool performing arts teacher Val Armstrong, said Kate’s pregnancy was “brilliant news”.

She added: “I think they will make fantastic parents.

“It is the next thing after getting married that people expect you to do.”

But as far as her own future is concerned, Hollie said: “We would like a family but not at the moment. We are both career orientated.”

Paul works in maritime protection on ships while Hollie has just finished a nationwide tour of 42nd Street, closing a matter of days ago in Nottingham.
