DANCE school youngsters are planning to step out in style - on the streets of Hartlepool.

Members of the Affirmation street dance group will be holding a sponsored walk on Friday, February 15.

Their aim is to raise money for the costumes for the dance crew’s next show.

Dance school teacher Charlotte Stevens said: “Most of the dance school will be taking part and that is about 20 to 30 people.”

There will be dancers aged from five to 17 taking part in the walk which will star at Owton Manor Primary School in Wynyard Road, go to Asda at Hartlepool Marina and back again.

Charlotte added: “It will take us about three hours to complete it.”
